Lib Dems pledge to slash student debt.

Lib Dems will make the millstone of student debt a thing of the past, says Tania Exley-Moore.

Speaking on the day the Liberal Democrats promised to scrap tuition fees and top up fees for students, Tania Exley-Moore said: 'Lib Dems believe that students should start their working lives without the huge debts that are being run up under this government.'

'Students regularly graduate with debts of £10,000-£12,000 which only benefits money lenders. Graduates represent the future of science, engineering, research and development, finance, enterprise, management and good public administration. We should be encouraging them into high-quality education rather than hanging the millstone of heavy debt around their necks.'

'The message to the parents and university applicants of Scarborough and Whitby is clear: for a student life with fewer financial worries, and for a better start to your working life, vote Liberal Democrat on May 5th.'

Tania teaches at Scarborough VI Form College and is familiar with the concerns of students coming up to their higher education choices.
