Whitby Lib Dems say "We Can Cut Crime"

Whitby Lib Dems Graham Peirson, Rob Broadley and John Stonehouse

Whitby Liberal Democrats launched their 'We Can Cut Crime' campaign in the town on Saturday Morning. Councillor Rob Broadley and Parliamentary Candidate Tania Exley-Moore were joined by Lib Dem local election candidates for Esk Valley and Mulgrave, Graham Peirson and John Stonehouse.

The team collected signatures in Whitby in the morning and then moved the campaign to Sleights in the afternoon. Local people were keen to support the Liberal Democrat 5 point plan to cut crime: more bobbies on the beat; no to ID cards; better compensation for victims of crime; better prison-based work programmes and local communities having the power to close problem pubs and clubs.
