Eve of poll appeal to vote by Scarborough and Whitby Liberal Democrats

"We know it's been a long and sometimes uninspiring election.
We know you're probably sick of politicians on TV not answering straight questions.
We know a lot of people think 'voting doesn't change anything'.
We don't believe that: if enough people want change, then the most important day for this country and county is election day: May 5th.
If you're angry about the war in Iraq, do something about it: vote.
If you're let down over tuition fees, do something about it: vote.
If you're worried about how to pay the ever-increasing council tax, do something about it: vote.
If you think that the County Council is running services badly, do something about it: vote.
If you think that the Suffragettes who campaigned to get the vote for women were right, thank them with your vote.
If you think that the people who fought in wars to defend our freedom fought in a noble cause, honour them with your vote."
